2027-2028 SEC
will open

Being part of the State Executive Council in HOSA is an amazing experience.
It allows students to develop leadership skills, network with leaders from
across the globe, and gives them the ability to learn and grow as future
health professionals! At Arizona HOSA, we feel that being on the SEC is
one of the most rewarding experiences that a student in HOSA can have.
Running for SEC is a great opportunity, but also comes with tremendous
responsibility, exciting opportunities, and rewarding challenges. Since it
is a year-long commitment, we ask that potential applicants consider
their school, home, and extracurricular obligations.

In order to help provide all of the information needed to run for office and hold a position on our State Executive Council, please review our Arizona HOSA SEC Handbook. We also highly encourage the local advisor of any SEC candidate also review the handbook prior to the candidate's application being submitted.

Students are eligible to run for State Office if they are:
-
A high school student in a CTE program or that has completed a CTE course or a college student pursuing a health profession
-
A registered, paid, and active member of his/her HOSA chapter
-
Planning to attend school and live in Arizona during their term on the SEC
